The internet is set up to be the "information superhighway.” If you’ve found the Willow Street UCC website, and particularly this page, then you are probably very “internet savvy.” Since you’re here, I should attempt to offer some knowledge about the ministry at Willow Street.
At Willow Street UCC, we seek to be a diverse body of folk: diverse in age, occupation, race, and national origin, to name but a few of our differences. We seek to bring to God’s service all that we are—our differences and our “same-nesses.” As we like to put it: Whoever you are and wherever you are on life’s journey, you’re welcome here.
Worship, ministry and service for God are what unites us here at Willow Street. And it is our hope that through participation in this community of faith, we will all be more sensitively attuned to God’s grace and to the many gifts God has granted us. Together, we seek to use these gifts according to God’s direction and call.
We worship, serve, minister and play together! And, we are always excited about new folks joining in the fun!
So, if you are looking for a church home, drop in for a visit. Let us know who you are as well as get to know us a little better. If we might be of service to you in any way, don’t hesitate to call me!
The welcome mat is out and, in the immortal words of Tom Bodet (Motel 6), “We’ll leave a light on for you!”
