A special preview of A Way to Pray: Contemplative Prayer for the Lenten Journey will be held on Friday, Jan. 22 from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Tracey Marx, PRC Consultant, will host the event and introduce different contemplative prayer practices such as Breath Prayer, Release Prayer and Centering Prayer.  Also offering leadership at these events is Sharon Bitner and Rev. Dr. Robert Webber. A Way to Pray sessions will be held Feb. 19, 26 and March 5, 12, and 26. There is no fee for members of our congregation, but registration is required by the Wednesday prior to each session.

Our gifts to One Great Hour of Sharing provide micro-credit to women to start poverty-escaping bussiness, teach trades and job skills to people maimed by landmines, offer children a chance to survive past the age of five and go to school, help rebuild communities ravaged by natural disasters and much more.
