Nursery Refurbished

Attracting younger families has been identified as a key component of Willow Street UCC’s growth and re-vitalization.  With younger families come young children, and the nursery needed a facelift.  While the nursery was functional, it needed a thorough cleaning, some repairs and a brighter, more inviting appearance.

Heartfelt thanks go out to all who had a hand in refurbishing the nursery.  The first round of work included repairs to the wall, a thorough cleaning, the addition of a carpet for the play area, and new organizational furnishings.  This work was completed prior to Easter.  Special thanks to those who helped clean and repair the nursery.

Many thanks go to all members of the congregation who donated toys and cash for the Nursery Shower.  Your donations have made the final stage of work possible.  Additional toys and supplies will be purchased, and the bulletin boards will be updated.  Thank you for your support of this endeavor.  Please stop by and check out the nursery.
